Located west of Mont-Tremblant and Brébeuf, Route 323 takes you to St-Rémi d’Amherst.

The Township of Amherst, settled in 1887 is an area of nearly 261 km2 of about 1445 residents. It consists of three villages that are proud of their long history: Saint-Rémi, Vendée and Rockway Valley.

Its forests and numerous lakes, ponds and rivers, of which the Maskinongé divides the territory from North to South, distinguish the Town of Amherst.
